My husband used to tell me a story about their family who used to manage a band before. He would tell me how the dining area of his house was being used as a small stage with all the band instruments, amplifiers and speakers scattering all around. Maybe that made him a music lover especially if there’s a band practicing almost everyday in front of his room. Imagine the drums beating and jim root telecaster guitar amplified with big speakers in front of your room.
I w0nder what my husband would be telling me about skullcandy that he wanted to have. I thought it’s a scary thing or just a candy. I know it is a brand of headphone he wanted to have as a gift. He knows how durable it is, though and that has earned great reviews. In addition, this brand also comes in great style with lots of athletes and celebrities using and endorsening this around the world.
My husband and I can be classified as music lovers. We are believers in the saying that “Music speaks what cannot be expressed, soothes the mind and gives it rest, heals the heart and makes it whole, flows from heaven to the soul.” It is no wonder to me why our son has been showing signs of appreciating music, too. How we wish to see him play a music instrument someday. Yes, even to play the guitar and to sing acoustics with his lace pickups around his neck in the future.
Last night we were able to watch the movie “Love Actually,” an all-star cast movie in UK. The movie is about eight separate love stores of eight couples. Each couple has different story, experiences and also in different ages. Although most of them have a happy ending some do not have happy ending. We love the movie. To those couples who are celebrating their anniversary, aside from anniversary gift basket at Shari's Berries you can watch this movie together as well.
We love to document all of our son’s activities. Aside from the photos, we also keep his school achievements other school-related papers. Luckily, there is an available iphone application where we just can take a photo and just serve as a scanner. Compared too before when we really needed a computer scanner and scanner software to do that. At least he will be able to see all his hard works when he gets old.
My son Kyle loves to listen to Israel Kamakawiwo's old songs especially his version of “What a Wonderful World and “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. Before he sleeps, we would attach surround speakers to his ipad and play these songs repeatedly until he dozes off. We created a play list of these songs and we just added the version of Louis Armstrong. Play list of songs keeps on repeating for more than three times every night before he sleeps.
How can you think of buying some holiday, birthday, anniversary or even valentines gifts if you have fellow Filipinos grieving for the loss of their homes and even loved ones in the flash floods that happened a week ago? How sad it is since supposedly, people are now enjoying this holiday season and yet there are those who cannot be so. If we can’t share in terms of goods, we can still help them through prayer or be with them in their times of sorrow.
