Sitti in The Piazza

It’s been a while since we last visited The Piazza in McKinley Hill. I just learned recently that Sitti will be performing in Piazza this coming April 30, 2010.
As a jazz and bossa aficionado, this news truly excites me and I can’t seem to let this day pass without seeing Sitti’s live performance. I really love the kinds of songs she sings and so her 2 CD albums are a fixture in my car. I can’t wait for this day to come. Bossa fans may have their pronexin ready for the sleepless night of jazz.

American Idol Grand Winner

I was able to watch American Idol season 9 top finalist last night last with Alicia Keys as mentor. As the finals are approaching, it became harder and harder now to choose who will be the grand winner. My husband said Casey James did not make it good last night but on who will be the winner this season is what we have all been excited for.

As we all know to be a grand final winner is a total package of the voice, talent and looks. That’s why those who are planning to join season 10 make your preparation right now. Practice your voice, prepare your looks and use Acneticin for acne if needed and pray hard.

American Idol Season 9 Finalist

It has been sometime since American Idol season 9 Premiered last January 12–13, 2010. Now it is on the Top finalist. Although I was not able to follow the show as I was able to follow it last season where I even availed of online printing of some of the finalist's bio especially Adam Lambert, the last year 1st runner up. But still I still have some favorite although you can't really predict who will be the next American Idol this season because all of them are great.

Sadly, I really thought last season it was really going to be Lambert.

Stage Parents

I wonder why there parents who tend to expect too from their children. Others force their children to go acting, singing and even to join in some talent searches even if it’s against their children’s will. I am not sure if this is how they manifest much belief in their kids or if they are just dreaming of having a son or daughter in show business.

As a parent I will support whatever my son wants in life. If he wants to join in show business, search for jobs in sales or any profession, for example, that would be fine as long as is it not a dangerous job.

A Spot to Rehearse

Nowadays, rarely would you find a residential development with allocation for basement. Perhaps this is because ventilation could be an issue. Unless you have a basement dehumidifier, you’d rather stay someplace in the house rather than the basement.

Some skeptics on the other hand would also warn against having a house with basement. They’d rather have a second floor than this side of the house unless you’re a musician who finds this a perfect spot to rehearse.
