Gabby Concepcion is one of the few celebrities who know how to reinvent themselves in answer to the call of the times. He has proven that he’s not just a pretty face and an actor where he is most popularly known. He’s been absent for 13 years in the local cinema limelight but he has became a distinguished real estate broker and lately, he has invaded the airwaves, too.

On February 20, 2010, Gabby launched his second album entitled “Unforgettable” at the Venice Piazza in McKinley Hills, Taguig City.

Despite my busy schedule, I marked my calendar for this event because I intend to send Gabby’s latest CD to my sister, a big fan of his, who is now based in Belgium. Secondly, his song line-ups are a big come-on for me and certainly among other ladies out there who now make reading wrinkle cream reviews a regular habit.

Listen to Gabby’s version of “Reminiscing” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” and it’s no wonder he’s being featured amidst the Philippines International Jazz Festival in the Piazza.

It is nice to hear that an international singer, classically trained pianist, guitarist, actor, and author John Ford Coley loves Filipino foods since he is already a regular performer here in the country for eight times. He has performed here and not just only in Manila but some parts of the Philippines as well.

According to his interview he loves “lugaw” or porridge and made a joke that the reason why he keeps on coming back here is because of our Filipino foods.

He must not worry as he could bring best diet pills every time he visit us here. Mr. Coley is also most well known for his partnership in the musical duo England Dan & John Ford Coley.

If only my sister is here in the Philippines, she certainly watch Gabby Concepcion’s “Unforgettable” album launch this coming Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 7:00 pm at the Venice Piazza in McKinley Hills, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. But we have a plan to buy Gabby’s album for her even if it means that we will forego some best weight loss supplements.

Hi hope my husband’s camera will be fixed by then so that we could have at least a photo remembrance for her favorite celebrity

Food Trip Weekend

Almost every weekend, my husband and I would keep searching for a new place to eat and dine just like last Saturday evening. We accidentally discovered a place that serves the best Filipino foods along Barangay Sampaloc in Tanay, Rizal. The place serves tapsilog, chicken adobo and bulalo. There is no use anymore of keep visiting www.appetitesuppressantreviews.net since with this kind of food, it can be difficult to suppress my appetite. What more with the chocolates that my sister sent me from Belgium.

It’s Another Girl

We were amused when my sister told us about her ultrasound result last weekend. It’s a girl again, she said. She felt a bit sad though because she and her husband wanted a boy this time. My husband told me if I will go pregnant again, we will not hope for a girl since he wanted a baby girl and if it’s going to be a boy again, my sister told me just to swap babies if it happens.

Better luck next time, hopefully she would still take her usual prenatal vitamins and other healthy foods.

Valentines Day Concerts

Manila will be flooded by international singers and performers this coming week due to the so-called love month. There are lots of fully booked hotels and other small as well as big concert halls. Among the noted international performers are David Benoit, Charlie Green and Chris Allen of American Idol among many others. For those romantic couple out there who just want peace and quiet for a romantic place, you can book a venue where only two of you are present.

My husband and I are not celebrating Valentine’s Day for religious reason. Nevertheless, this would not prevent me and my husband to travel in some beautiful places in Europe again. For now, a medical travel insurance is something to prepare and planning for this is almost a natural consequence of planning to travel.

Toto Fans in the Philippines

American rock band “Toto” of the "Rosanna", "Africa", and "Stranger in Town” fame will be coming to town. Although the band was founded way back in 1977, they continued to rock the Philippines after their last series of concerts in the country.

The band released 17 albums and have sold over 30 million records to date. A multi-Grammy award winner, it is no wonder that thousands of Filipinos love them. I hope their popularity does not have any connection with the popularity of Toto toilets, too.
