There’s a lot of international artists lined up to have concerts and performances here in the Philippines after Bruno Mars concert turned out successful last month. The up coming Justin Bieber concert is also a winner. Allmost every month we have international singers and artists performing here. That’s why many especially teenagers are saving money for these. They even spare budget for their acsonix just to see their idols.
When I first heard some of Bruno Mars’ songs, I started to like them. I never thought this guy wearing just urban clothing on his music videos has a Filipino blood. “Just the way you are” is his song that was nominated in Grammy’s and won him the Best Male Pop Vocal Performance award. Bruno was raised in Hawaii and he belongs to a family of musicians. He began making music at a young age.
I salute the thousands of graduates of 2011. I am sure the honor will not be to the graduate but most importantly (and at least in Philippines setting), to their parents who sacrificed so much to give them ensure they complete an education from school. We know it’s not our obligation to pay them back but it is our responsibility to make them feel that their sacrifices are worth it by how we live our lives after graduation. I am sure this is not the end but just the beginning of what really life and responsibility are all about. What ever jobs you will get into, may it nursing, computer, engineering or tech jobs, I am sure there are lots of better offers outside the country. You may also consider what you can give to your country first.
He is a phenomenal success from music to his first ever movie. Justin Bieber, a Canadian pop, R&B singer-songwriter is now an actor as well. He was discovered in 2008 after his manager saw his video on You Tube. From his certified platinum records in the United States, his first film Justin Bieber: Never Say Never – opened on weekend grossing income that nearly matched the record of the biggest opening weekend for a concert-film. Hopefully he will be guided accordingly. We are happy for him and we can only wish that his success will be sustained until later on. As we all know, early fame may sometimes result to problems. We wish he could finish his studies, too. I’m not sure if he already had his high school rings.
