The American Idol is on its 8th season and now airing worldwide. It is among the most popular shows on American television. It is now invading televiewers around the world who are waiting for who will again be the winner of this singing superstar search. But did you know that being an American Idol winner is not a guarantee of continuous stardom. Not all of the winners are given a chance to dominate American music or entertainment industry. With just a debut or just a couple of albums, movies and nominations, after all that contracts are ended. Kelly Clarkson (1st season winner) and Carrie Underwood(4th winner) are maybe lucky but how about Fantasia Barrino (3rd season winner), Jordin Sparks (6th season winner)? We know they could also still be seen and heard but not as always. How about Ruben Studdard (2nd season winner) and Tailor Hicks (5th season winner)? They are been named as the worse American Idol winners according to some survey because their albums reportedly didn’t make it in the market that much. Hicks apparently dropped by his record company lately after his first album. David Cook is the 7th and the last season winner and still yet to prove himself in terms of selling his music.
This is the lesson for all those who wanted fame it is not always an overnight job. It is not just like taking diet pills if you want to loss weight immediately. It is a continuing job. You have to continue working had for it to gain the fame that those divas and icons in music and entertainment world had
