I can say I am a fan of The X Factor, a television talent show franchise originating from the United Kingdom, where it was devised as a replacement for Pop Idol. It is a singing competition, now held in various countries, which pits contestants against each other. It is produced by Simon Cowell and his company SYCO TV and now hitting USA. Adding to that are the judges aside from Cowel are LA Reid, Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. The question is on who will be the first American winner who will walk in a quick step floors bringing with him, her or them the five million worth of contract and prizes.
